T.C. and Wanda Messer
Our pastors began their ministry in September of 1966. They were missionaries to the Navajo Indians at Fort Wingate, New Mexico. After leaving there, they pastored 2 more Indian Missions. In 1976 they pioneered a church in Roanoke, Texas. Then in December of 1976, they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where they pastored until 1980. In 1980, they moved back to Amarillo, Texas and pastored here for ten years. Brother and Sister Messer then became Home Missionaries and pioneered six more churches, including Harvest Time Pentecostal Church of God. Brother and Sister Messer have been the pastors of Harvest Time going on nine years.
Brother and Sister Messer have five adult children, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and five beautiful grandchildren.
Brother Messer said "God's word tells me to preach the word, and that is what I'm going to do with his help. Sister Messer and I appreciate all of the hard working, dedicated people that God has blessed us with in our ministry to the Lord. May God bless you all."
Brother and Sister messer spend countless hours caring for everyone associated with our church family. Brother Messer makes several personal visits to nursing homes and hospital rooms of those who attend our church. Our congregation is very blessed to have pastors that love and care for their church family as much as ours do.
